Plan Your Day and Be Proactive Instead Of Reactive

In this video let’s talk about how to remain focused and have a productive day that is proactive instead of simply reactive to everything that comes up.
So many people live each day simply reacting to life as it happens. I don’t need to tell you how quickly life can happen do I? With this lifestyle choice, it’s so easy to get derailed and never seem to get any real work done toward your goals. That’s because we are constantly bombarded by other peoples’ needs, desires, plans, and emergencies. If we aren’t careful, we can spend our entire lives responding to other peoples’ needs and never handle our own. This is the quickest path to frustration, confusion, and burnout.
If, however, we commit to planning our day before we begin it, we can accomplish more than we ever dreamed of. Jim Rohn says, “Don’t ever start your day until you’ve finished it.”
What this means is that if you can begin your day with a clear end goal in mind, and a full plan on how to get there, you will be proactive instead of reactive. When other people and situations try to steal your time throughout your day, you will assess each situation in scope of whether it is more important and necessary to handle than YOUR Goals. Thus, you can handle the issues that require immediate attention, and then get right back to working on YOUR Priorities. You’ll be able to stick to your plans and purposes, and nothing will derail you.
This CHOICE of planning our day, and becoming proactive instead of reactive is one of the most important disciplines we can exercise on our path to Success, Happiness, and Wealth.
